Hi, parent-heroes! We want your DALO Family Apps experience to be easy and joyful, so here's the not-so-fun part in plain, simple language—our Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them before using our mobile applications (My Milk Stash, My Smart Solids, My Nap Plan, My Bedtime Story ) or website (collectively, "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are & What We Offer

We're DALO Family Apps SRL, based in Bucharest, Romania. Our apps are designed to simplify family life through subscription-based features for your personal, non-commercial use. No reselling, redistribution, or commercial use is permitted without our written consent.

2. Accounts, Subscriptions, and Payments

  • Accounts: You need an account to access most features. For all apps , you may invite a co-parent or caregiver as a guest user via a unique access code. Guests have limited access (e.g., view-only for shared milk stash data) and must comply with these Terms.
  • Subscriptions: Most features require a paid subscription, managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can sign up, manage, or cancel your subscription directly via your app store account.
  • Payments: All payments and renewals are processed securely by your app store. We do not collect or store your payment details. Refunds are subject to your app store's policies.
  • Free Trials: We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription per the app store's terms.

3. Using Our Services

  • Personal Use: Our Services are for personal, family use only. You may not share, resell, or use them for commercial purposes.
  • Acceptable Use: You agree not to:
    • Violate any laws or regulations.
    • Misuse, hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our Services.
    • Use our AI features (e.g., recipe generation, trend analysis) for purposes beyond personal family use.
  • Minors: Our Services are for adults (parents/guardians) aged 18+. We do not permit use by children under 18, even with parental consent.
  • Content Ownership: You retain ownership of data you input (e.g., pumping logs, feeding preferences). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use this data to provide and improve our Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Availability & Service Changes

  • We strive to keep our Services available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance, technical issues, or other factors. We'll notify you of significant downtime via in-app alerts or email where feasible.
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features or Services at our discretion. If we discontinue a Service or make material changes, we'll provide reasonable notice (e.g., via email or in-app) and offer you the option to cancel your subscription without penalty.
  • Third-Party Services: Our Services rely on third-party providers (e.g., Firebase for storage, OpenAI for AI processing). We are not responsible for their downtime or changes.

5. Content, Advice, and Disclaimers

Health & Parenting Info: Content in our apps (e.g., feeding logs, recipes, supply trends, growth tracking) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical or dietary concerns.

  • AI-Generated Content: Features like recipe generation or trend analysis use AI (e.g., OpenAI). These are suggestions, not guarantees, and may not suit every user's needs.
  • External Links: We may link to external resources (e.g., support groups). We're not responsible for their content or availability.
  • Accuracy: We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all content (e.g., WHO growth standards, allergen data) is error-free or up-to-date.

6. Account Termination & Data

  • Your Choice: You can cancel your subscription anytime via your app store. To delete your account and all associated data, use the in-app "Delete Account" feature or contact us at support@dalofamilyapps.com. Deleted data is removed immediately, except where required by law (e.g., tax records).
  • Data Retention: If you unsubscribe but do not delete your account, we may retain your data for up to 12 months to allow reactivation, unless you request deletion sooner. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Our Choice: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse our Services, or engage in fraudulent activity. We'll notify you of termination reasons where possible.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Our IP: Our apps, logos, and content (excluding user data) are owned by DALO Family Apps SRL or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
  • Your Use: You're granted a limited, non-transferable license to use our Services for personal use, subject to these Terms.
  • Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to compensate you.

8. Liability

Our Services are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of data, emotional distress) arising from your use of our Services.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the prior 12 months.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes arising from your use of our Services are governed by the laws of Romania, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Bucharest, Romania. You agree to attempt informal resolution (via support@dalofamilyapps.com) before pursuing legal action.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app alerts at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
